New Wave 660nm/850nm Therapy Pad

The New Wave Therapy Pad Includes:

  • One Multiple Light Therapy Pad

  • One Power Bank

  • One 110 Volt Electrical Adapter

  • One Velcro Stretchy Strap

  • One USB Charging Cord for Power Bank

  • One Instructional and Operational Manual

The New Wave Therapy Pad uses a combination of both Red 660nm and Near-Infrared 850nm LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) which are known to be the most effective wavelengths found by multiple scientific researchers for the last three decades.

Red 660nm LED:

This light can be seen by the human eye and targets skin cells and penetrates to the third layer of the skin.

Near-Infrared 850nm LED:

This light cannot be seen by the human eye and has the ability to penetrate deeper than Red Lightwaves.

Using Pulsing Light for Deeper Relief:

It has been discovered that when LED lights are pulsed, body tissue can heal more rapidly.

When the LED light is given in a continuous burst, it sedates the cell and relieves pain. When a single frequency pulsed light hits the cell, it stimulates the cell to start producing more protein than it normally does; as a result, the cell heals faster. When the LED light is taken away, the cell continues its healing process.

As opposed to the pulsing light that is best for healing; a    continuous steady light source can remove the dull pain,    reduce inflammation, and allow muscle tissue to relax.

Blue 450nm LED Light

Low Level (LED) Blue Light Therapy when used in conjunction with Red Light Therapy is one of the more commonly used visible light treatments. Blue light is used for the treatment of skin conditions like acne and Red Light being normally used for skin and soft tissue issues.

The Blue Light wavelengths of between 400 and 475nm pass through the epidermis skin layer to effectively kill the acne bacteria. Blue Light can often have almost immediate effects on pimples and stops other related skin conditions like blackheads from getting worse; often, both red and blue light are used. The blue light kills the acne bacteria, and the red light closes the pores and soothes the skin. It can also be used for skin issues that are fungal in nature.

Because the body’s immune system stops producing the antibodies it needed to fight the acne bacteria; many clients have also seen an almost immediate reduction in inflammation.

Our own findings when working with horses have shown great success when dealing with skin problems that are fungal in nature. The effect on such equine skin conditions is the same as above, the light appears to attack the DNA of the specific problem.

Even though most of our previous fieldwork has been conducted on horses we have been approached by the owners of our animal clients to see if we might be able to also help them with their human problems. By the way, we did do so and got the same type of positive results.

Green 530nm LED Light

Our findings have shown us that the green light positively affects the “Sympathetic Nervous  System”. The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) is one of two main divisions of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). Its general action is to mobilize the body's fight-or-flight response allowing additional adrenaline to be produced; it is the SNS that controls the body’s response during a perceived threat.

What we have found is that the use of the green low-level light as therapy reduces the effect that the SNS has on the body and allow the other half of the ANS to activate, the “Parasympathetic Nervous System”, allowing the rest-and-relax response to active, thus overriding the flight-or-fight response; allowing muscles to start to relax, lowering the heart rate, and allowing the pupils to constrict.

We have found that this therapy is very beneficial for humans, horses, and dogs.

In our work with horses, we have found the main areas that have shown the most benefit has been situations of horses that have been through the rescue process and have a feeling of abandonment or loss of the normal daily routine, the loss of a stablemate, change of ownership, and even a mare that is cycling and become difficult.

Even though most of our previous fieldwork has been conducted on horses we have been approached by the owners of our animal clients to see if we might be able to also help them with their human problems. By the way, we did do so and got the same type of positive results.

Near-Infrared 850nm LED Light

The 850nm wavelength amplifies the benefits provided by the 6600nm Red Light. This wavelength has a range of therapeutic applications such as:

Anti-inflammatory benefits: 850nm wavelengths can help to reduce joint and muscle pain and diminish general inflammation in the body.

Enhanced muscle recovery: A study observed the use of 850nm wavelengths on athletes, and found that usage of the near-infrared light increased muscle mass after training, and decreased inflammation and oxidative stress in muscle biopsies.

Healing of wounds in the skin: Lesions in the skin heal faster when exposed to 850nm wavelength light therapy.

Reduction of lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation: 850nm can support the production of collagen, assisting with plumper, more radiant-looking skin, and a more uniform texture.

Orthodontics and tooth alignment: The use of the 850nm wavelength can foster the speedy realignment of teeth for patients undergoing orthodontics.

Activates ATP (adenosine triphosphate) Production: Promotes activity in DNA to increase all internal healing processes.

Even though most of our previous fieldwork has been conducted on horses we have been approached by the owners of our animal clients to see if we might be able to also help them with their human problems. By the way, we did do so and got the same type of positive results.
